The Transmitter’s ‘Rising stars in neuroscience’ 2025
Don’t miss the opportunity to recognize your outstanding colleagues and postdoctoral fellows doing exciting work in the field and contributing to the neuroscience community inside and outside the lab.
The Transmitter is happy to announce that we are accepting nominations for our early-career “Rising stars in neuroscience” for 2025.
We seek to recognize 15 to 20 early-career researchers who have made outstanding scientific contributions to the field and demonstrated a commitment to mentoring and community-building in neuroscience.
Selected nominees will be featured on our website and in our annual book.
Eligibility: postdoctoral fellows and early-career principal investigators who opened their lab in the past five years.
Applicants must be nominated by a peer or mentor. Nominations should consist of:
- A short narrative (150 to 300 words) describing the nominee’s research accomplishments (including select publications, research awards won, etc.), mentoring history, advocacy activities and any other neuroscience-related extracurricular activities.
- Nominee CV and/or biosketch
A panel of The Transmitter editors will evaluate nominee applications. Finalists may be contacted to provide additional information during the selection process. Selected nominees to be featured will be notified by 31 August 2025. Reach out if you have any questions: [email protected]
