Il Memming Park is group leader at the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown.

Memming earned a B.S. in computer science at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2005. He earned his M.S. in electrical and computer engineering in 2007 and his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering in 2010 from the University of Florida, working with José C. Principe. Memming was a postdoctoral fellow from 2010 to 2014 at the University of Texas at Austin, working with Jonathan Pillow, before joining the faculty at Stony Brook University in 2015.
