Caitlyn James is a Ph.D. student at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she is co-mentored by both Scott Olejniczak and Elizabeth Repasky. She is developing her thesis project with a focus on the impact of chronic stress on CD8+ T cell metabolism. She plans to study how beta-adrenergic receptor signaling affects CD8+ T cell glutaminolysis, glutaminase alternative splicing/alternative polyadenylation, and how this ultimately impacts anti-tumor immunity.

James graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2018 with a B.S. in biology.
